Twisted Wonderland:
Cloudcalling on the Savanna event has begun, and so do my pulls for the SSR Leona event card. I did my first 10-pull and got the SR Kalim event card and the SSR Dorm Uniform card for Trey. I did a few more “solo yolo” pulls and was unsuccessful. It wasn’t until my lunch break (I was in-office today) that I did another “solo yolo” pull while waiting for my lunch to heat up. I almost screamed in front of my coworkers when I pulled the SSR Leona event card. He looks soooo pretty and I’m embarrassed at how long I stared at his card when I pulled him. Looking at the image below, though, can you really blame me? (laughs)
⭐ Wednesday, 7/10/24
Honkai Star Rail:
Day 1 of pulling for Argenti. I had 6 red tickets and about 950 gems. Pulls were unsuccessful, but I got Asta and Natasha once each.
Touken Ranbu:
~ I can’t remember if I mentioned it, but there’s an event going on right now. Honestly, there are too many game events going on and I don’t know how my brain is keeping up. Hatano Wataru voices the new sword and while I don’t care for the character design, I do love Hatano Wataru. (laughs) At this time, I don’t know if I will get him, but I’m still going to try.
~ I also don’t think I mentioned this, but I sent my boy Shokudaikiri Mitsutada out for kiwame training a few days ago, and he is coming home tomorrow. Kiwame training takes four days (96 hours) and the sword boy gets new art and upgraded stats. For three days, your sword will send you letters until his return on the fourth day. I can’t wait to show you his new art~
~ It’s been a really long time, but I crafted a new sword today! His name is Kogarasumaru and he’s a tachi!

Touken Ranbu (anime):
Today was a Touken Ranbu day, I guess! (laughs) Got around to finally watching the third season of Hanamaru. There are only three episodes in the season, and you might be thinking, “Isn’t that kinda short for a season?” And the answer is yes, considering the prior seasons were twelve episodes each. However, each episode is just under an hour and a half, so I think the length makes up for it.
I only watched the first episode tonight, and I have to say, the pacing feels more rushed and slightly disjointed compared to the first two seasons. Since there was a lot of ground they wanted to cover, I think they squeezed just a little bit too much into the first episode (new sword boys who joined the citadel, a past event that also introduced a new sword boy, and Kashuu going off on his kiwame training). Regardless, I’m still going to enjoy myself. But, that also means Kashuu will be coming back from his training in the last episode (I think). His little, “I’ve got something to ask you,” was soooo cute~
I’ll close off the day by saying the game account I’m currently playing on is actually my second account. For my original account, I had picked a different starter sword…and that sword was Kashuu Kiyomitsu! The same Kashuu who is going on his kiwame training in the first episode of Hanamaru season 3! He and Yamanbagiri Kunihiro (my starter sword on my second account) both hold a special place in my heart. My second account might be my main account now, but I will never forget Kashuu. ❤️
⭐ Friday, 7/12/24
Touken Ranbu (anime):
One more episode of Hanamaru done and I was so wrong about Kashuu finishing his kiwame training on the third episode. Because guess what? He returned at the end of the second episode! Look at how cute he is~
One more episode to go, which I’ll leave for tomorrow or Sunday. I want to get back into streaming, so we’ll see what the weekend holds!
⭐ Saturday, 7/13/24
Tyrion Cuthbert ~ Attorney of the Arcane:
Instead of streaming, I caught up with some YouTube videos and started my playthrough of Tyrion Cuthbert! It was recommended to me by my brother and was actually a game I initially skipped over due to the art style. However, he said that the story and characters were 10/10 and when my brother recommends a game, I usually end up enjoying it. (laughs) Even though I’m not very far in the game, I’m already enjoying myself. The music is great and the gameplay so far has been interesting. I’m ready to learn more about this world and its characters!
⭐ Sunday, 7/14/24
Touken Ranbu:
~ Decided to have Kogitsunemaru go on his kiwame training next! I actually have quite a few swords that can go on kiwame training, but since I don’t have enough materials for all of them to go on their journey, I have to pick and choose.
~ Tried a little harder on the event today and received my first sword boy reward! His name is Chiyoganemaru and he’s a tachi! Touken Ranbu events normally reward sword boys when you reach certain milestones. Chiyoganemaru is special because when he’s on your team, he makes it so there’s a 1.5x multiplier on event material collection (lunar shells). Now that I’m collecting more shells per run, I’m hoping this’ll make it a little easier to get the Hatano Wataru sword boy. Fingers crossed!
Tyrion Cuthbert ~ Attorney of the Arcane:
I got through the first trial portion today, which means I met the rival prosecutor for the game! Since it plays like Ace Attorney, I didn’t have too hard of a time with the game mechanics here. Just the usual press and present! Even if it’s a visual novel, I love that it feels like I’m playing Ace Attorney mixed with RPG elements.
Coming up, I have an investigation portion before I hit another trial portion, which I believe should wrap up the case. At least from a tutorial case standpoint, that’s what I feel should happen. (laughs)

I know I said I was going to stream on Saturday and Sunday, but I think my body just needed to recuperate from Anime Expo… 😅 I do want to get back into streaming, so I’ll try again this weekend! I feel this week was very Touken Ranbu-coded, but since I got back into it recently and there’s an event going on… Can you blame me? I have a lot to catch up on! And I can’t forget about the Twisted Wonderland event and my pulls for Argenti! And finishing that final episode of Hanamaru season 3! So much to do and so little time! But I’ll just take it one day at a time like usual.
