Update 10/2/24: Added a “Read More” line.
Since last week’s post had all the details of why I’m doing these logs, I’m just gonna jump right into it.
⭐ Monday, 6/17/24
Wuthering Waves: I completed an exploration quest to make the world a little easier to run around in. Then I worked on leveling up my Data Bank a little before my brain went, “You should work on building your characters.” And I went, “OH YEAH.” Since Calcharo is my main DPS, I’m starting with him first. He’s…getting there. I’m nowhere close to being done, but at least I can say I started.
Sugar Apple Fairy Tale: Started watching a little later than planned (I got distracted by WUWA and YouTube, okay), but I got through more episodes today! Lots of cute and angst all rolled into one little package. Wrapped up with a nice little bow and handed to me like it was my birthday (except it’s not my birthday). This series just makes me an emotional mess, but it’s okay because it’s all anticipated. I’m still having fun though, despite my emotions running rampant. (laughs) As of now, I have eight more episodes to go!
⭐ Tuesday, 6/18/24
I wasn’t able to do much today since I ended up going to my aunt’s house to help dogsit while she ran some errands. I also had a Discord call with a friend later in the evening. HOWEVER, the Nintendo Direct was today and, boy, was it PACKED. Many games were announced, but the most important one for me was the announcement for ACE ATTORNEY INVESTIGATIONS 1 & 2. We did it. We won. We finally have Ace Attorney Investigations 2 localized in English. We waited so long for this and I screamed when I saw the announcement. Like I do with every Ace Attorney collection, I preordered it on Steam, Nintendo Switch, and PS4 (aka the consoles that I own). Am I insane for doing that each and every time? Yes. Will I stop? No. I’m very normal about Ace Attorney, I swear. (laughs) HAPPY MILES EDGEWORTH DAY, EVERYONE.
I wanted to watch a few more episodes of “Sugar Apple Fairy Tale,” but I got too tired when my call with my friend ended. There was also an update in Honkai Star Rail today…which I didn’t get to because I was too tired to start the main story quest. Between Sugar Apple episodes, Honkai Star Rail main story, and Wuthering Waves character leveling, I’ll see what my brain feels like doing. I’ll get through everything eventually! (laughs)
⭐ Wednesday, 6/19/24
Today was very much a Honkai Star Rail kinda day. (laughs) I finished the main story quest and jumped straight into the newest game mode: Divergent Universe. My initial thoughts? It’s really fun! I like that you pick an equation at the start of your run and then have to pick the corresponding blessings to make them active and useable. After a short session of finding some Penacony stickers for gem farming, I ate dinner and went straight back to running Divergent Universe.
My friend wasn’t kidding when she said I could play this for a long time. (laughs) I had YouTube videos running in the background so I could at least have some background noise while I played through Divergent Universe. I was tempted to put Sugar Apple on in the background so I could multitask, but since I actually want to watch the show, I decided against it.
⭐ Thursday, 6/20/24
Today was surprisingly pretty chill. I did the bare minimum in Honkai Star Rail and Wuthering Waves (material farming/leveling up characters) and I played through more of the Twisted Wonderland event that’s currently going on. And the reason why today was a fairly chill day? Well, that’s because tonight was Arkham Horror game night with my brother and two friends. We needed to postpone for a few weeks due to my brother’s wedding/honeymoon and a few other scheduling conflicts that happened along the way, but we were finally able to schedule one for tonight! We’ll go back to our usual Friday game night starting next week. (laughs) Hopefully tomorrow, I can continue my rewatch of Sugar Apple… I’m so close to finishing!
⭐ Friday, 6/21/24
Another fairly chill day! Since Anime Expo is coming up in about two weeks, I decided that I should probably review the panels and Artist Alley artists so I can have a better idea of what my weekend will be like. That took a few hours, so afterward, I did my usual material farming/character leveling for HSR and WUWA. I tried to play WUWA co-op with my friend in the evening, but the server was being very stupid and I got kicked out of the game twice. Unfortunately, we’ll have to co-op another time. (laughs)
⭐ Saturday, 6/22/24
My original plan was to stream Ace Attorney since I hadn’t streamed in a few weeks, but since it was way too hot, I opened Honkai Star Rail to do Divergent Universe runs instead. (laughs) I also feel like this week went by very quickly. Where did the time go? I feel like I didn’t do anything!
I plowed through Divergent Universe today, though. I hadn’t touched it since Wednesday and I really wanted to get those rewards. I went from level 8 to 24 in a matter of hours. I even had “Undead Murder Farce” playing in the background so I had some white noise to listen to. It’s a series I’ve already watched, so I didn’t have to pay too much attention. I highly recommend watching it if you enjoy mystery and supernatural!
⭐ Sunday, 6/23/24
I almost forgot to write something before this post goes live. (laughs) But anyway, I feel like today went a lot like Saturday. Since it was very hot this weekend, I was worried that my laptop would get too hot and overheat if I played Wuthering Waves (which it sometimes does now that the summer heat has decided to kick in). So just as some insurance, I turned on the AC unit in my room while I played. The game was a little nicer in that it didn’t crunch like crazy and was actually playable this time around. After playing through some quests and collecting Echos, I decided to swap over to Honkai Star Rail so I could do some Divergent Universe runs. I didn’t go as crazy as Saturday’s runs, but I did get to level 28! Hoping to get further so I can collect more rewards~
Later that evening, I got on a Discord call with my friend and we did WUWA co-op for the remainder of the night. Weirdly enough, I did not continue my rewatch of Sugar Apple, but I’ll give it another try in the new week. I’m hoping that after I finish this rewatch, I can finally watch the Touken Ranbu anime that I’ve put off for far too long. Other things just keep taking precedence and I actually want to pay attention when I watch Sugar Apple and not just have it as background noise…

Another week for the books! Since it’ll take some time before a “main” post gets written (and posted), I like writing these posts and getting to recap what I did each day. I might continue to change how I write these. I’m not sure if I should just bullet-point them by item or write full-on sentences. I’ll see how I feel in the next weekly log. (laughs)
